Grapes are destemmed and soft-pessed. Then they undergo temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel containers. A 24 months bottle fermentation is the last phase. After disgorgement this Durello rests and cures in bottle for another 4-5 months.
In the nose, the aroma of this Durello is open and defined, with fruity/floral (almonds, hawthorne and acacia blossoms)and breadcrust notes. In the palate, the perlage is silky, lively and gentle.
Lessini Durello is a polyedric wine: we may have it appearing on our table from the aperitive to the dessert. Very well suited to match with baccala' and seafood in general. Great also with hard cheeses. Pleasant as a meditation wine, for the sweet warmth of the feelings that it generates.
